Indian Pangolin (Manis crassicaudata) represents the world’s most trafficked and highly threatened species due to poaching habitat destruction (Newton et al., 2008). In India, two of Pangolin; crassicaudata), also called thick-tailed Chinese pentadactyla), are distributed throughout country except for Trans-Himalayan region (Mahapatra 2015). The remains endangered by IUCN (Mahmood 2019) Appendix I in CITES. is protected as a Schedule under Wildlife (Protection) Act, 1972.
